Jalan Crossland and Sean Devine Fall Tour 2018
Jalan Crossland is an unlikely star. Put John Hartford and Tom Waits in the same body, grow that body up in tiny Ten Sleep, WY (pop. 260), and you get Jalan Crossland. Both a deft and sophisticated songwriter and a ripping fast picker of guitar and banjo, Jalan, his porch board, harmonica, and big-hearted wit are a show to be reckoned with. “He casts a sardonic but affectionate eye on the roughhewn lives of Western people. Crossland’s ‘Big Horn Mountain Blues’ is so popular in Wyoming that it is practically the official state song.” (Michael Segell- New York Times).
Livingston, MT singer-songwriter Sean Devine opens the show with his deep, insightful lyrics and acoustic guitar style reminiscent of Guy Clark and Bob Dylan.
