Rocky Fork Outfitters and Guide Service is the oldest and most experienced fly-fishing outfitter in the Red Lodge area. We have been operating since 1985 and have over 40 years combined experience on the area's rivers, creeks, and lakes. We are very dedicated and reliable with an intimate knowledge of the aquatic and environmental resources. We encourage catch and release and pride ourselves in practicing responsible fishing ethics.

From the most experienced fly fisherman to the beginner needing instruction, we offer guided float and wade trips custom fit to your needs.

More Than Just a Fishing Trip
We take pride in providing our clientele with a total quality outdoor experience. From our knowledge of local birds, wildlife, vegetation, history, and the area's original native inhabitants, we know the lay of the land. In the course of our time on the river, we will be traveling the same route and viewing the same terrain which the Lewis and Clark Expedition first saw in 1806. We are glad to share our knowledge of the Corps of Discovery's travels through South Central Montana.

Travel times range from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. Full day trips include transportation to and from our destination, vehicle shuttle and an excellent lunch. You provide: fishing license, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, hat and rain gear. We suggest that you dress based on the layering system, depending on season and weather conditions.
