Well,
 
They lifted the evacuation last night but since we spent the last five days moving all of our belongings from the house, we had no reason to go back.  Also, the thought of having the deputies knock on our door in the middle of the night was would have made for a restlesss night's sleep so we decided to remain at our friends for the evening.

Here's a question...I've been soaking my deck with the sprinkler for the last 3 days, am I in danger of ruining the wood?  How effective would this be in the event that the fire make it down into Grizzly Peak?
 
Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks.
Also, have you guys seen the T-shirts?  Pretty cool....

Hello,
 
I hope everybody is doing okay out there.  I was wondering if anyone has any idea how long the evacuation of Grizzly Peak might last.  If the firefighters can get a grip on this thing...what are the chances they'll start letting people back into their homes.  I was evacuated from Grizzly Peak on saturday and have never experienced anything quite like this so any input would be appreciated.

We watched the fire from a house near Luther last night (Wed), the glow behind Red Lodge Mountain was wild. We also watched the spotting in the Headwaters of Cole Creek. The helicopters were on it!
