If you’ve never been here for Red Lodge’s annual Christmas Stroll, your holiday season is missing some of its magic. For two evenings, December 6 and 7, our downtown shops open their doors late with goodies and treats, while the entire town turns out for the kind of holiday cheer and goodwill that keeps the hearth fires burning ‘til spring. The Stroll starts at 6pm with the increasingly popular Blade Parade (who knew there were so many ways to decorate a snowplow?) Also on Friday there will be a lantern stroll down Broadway just before the blade parade at 6:00.

Stores stay open until around 9pm. So bundle up the kids and bring your holiday shopping list. It’s a perfect recipe for enjoying the holiday season: Ski, Stroll, & Stay the night.

Santa will be at the Elks Both nights from 6-9 along with Tricksy the Clown.

Red Lodge School of Dance will be showing the video of the making of the 2014 Ballerina Calendar featuring all local RL School of Dance ballerinas during the Stroll on Friday night. The calendars are on sale at the RLA Chamber of Commerce with proceeds benefiting the RL School of Dance.

There will be dancers in the RL Drug window on Friday night.
Saturday night of the stroll from 6-8 at the RL School of Dance, dancers will be performing pieces from the Nutcracker for the public to enjoy. School of Dance: 446-1459

Horse Drawn wagon rides available down Broadway both nights!
